Russell Stover Candies - Is this chocolate or a test run gone bad?
Wow. My first negative review I felt the need to post so no one would have to experience the poor quality control.
I live in Austin, TX I work retail for a living. This holiday my Boss treated her staff to a 30oz box of Russell Stover Chocolates. Noted that the box says, โHandcrafted in small batches.โ So the employees try a few as I do myself and itโs clear that whatever batch these chocolates came out of, it wasnโt an edible one. Every company has a bad batch though -right???
So I wrote if off as one. Then the boss gives a box to each employee as a Christmas gift. (Clearly all purchased at the same time and place). I get them home and taste another only to find the chemical taste present in this box as well.
Itโs clear that โsmall handcrafted batchesโ canโt mean a few boxes at a time considering the National feedback this holiday, itโs also clear that quality control is a thing of the past with this lot.
I canโt remember the last time something tasted so awful that I needed to spit it out. What a shame to what used to be a quality brand.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
